Description
Custom manufactured filling system originally designed to fill 2 -16 ounce Deli style cups. The conveyor picks up the cups from a nesting area. The cups are then mechanically placed into a place holder on the indexing conveyor. The filler fills cups two at a time. The conveyor then moves forward one increment where the lid is placed. Next, it is pressed on and burped (remove excess air) at the next stop. The system is designed to fill 16 and 32 ounce deli cups with the same diameter. The filler has a horizontal type hopper with a paddle mixer to help keep the product mixed consistently.
